HELPING YOU WRITE A NEW CHAPTER
There are as many reasons for divorce as there are married couples. Even if your divorce is amicable, it is still a sensitive time as you step into the next chapter of your life. At ELKINS, MUIR & CAFASSO, we make sure that you are in the best possible position to move on with your life after a divorce.
The choices that need to be made when a marriage ends can be overwhelming. Our attorneys and staff are here to help guide you through the process and make sure you are ready to start again.
MEET OUR NEW LEGAL
PARAPROFESSIONAL
Elkins, Muir & Cafasso, is pleased to announce that Peggy Cochran, who has worked with us as a paralegal since 2013, has recently completed the necessary education and certification tests to become an Arizona Legal Paraprofessional.
This designation is a new tier of legal service provider created by the Arizona Supreme Court. A legal paraprofessional can provide legal advice, draft and file documents and appear in court on behalf of clients. The lower cost of working with a legal paraprofessional is just one of the advantages we can offer clients. Once we access your case, we can determine which of our practitioners would be the correct fit for your situation.
Family Law has MANY FACTORS
There are many components to consider when divorcing, such as the division of assets and debts and spousal maintenance. If there are children involved, additional issues include child support and parenting time. Our attorneys make sure your rights are vigorously represented in every aspect of the proceedings.
PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
Our attorneys also help families ensure their wishes will be carried out through wills and estate planning. Without an estate plan, the state of Arizona decides what will happen to your assets; a judge, not you, will determine how your assets will be distributed.
Our estate planning attorneys will discuss your options and help you decide what best serves your situation and needs. Do you need a will? Would a living trust better suit your situation? It is a good idea to review your choices and options following a divorce. Call ELKINS, MUIR & CAFASSO at 520-219-4040 to set up a consultation.
